Sharing the video on her profile, Maxine Daniel broke down the steps they took to get their garden all spruced up.

She said they began by “removing the layers of purple paint with sanding disks, scrapers & paint stripper.”

“[We then] leared all weeds and debris [and] power washed the old paving and block paved driveway.”

The clip, which has gained 32k views, shows Maxine jet-washing the floor.

She also filmed her husband, John, painting “brick headers” above the downstairs windows a light grey.

The paint she used is called Sandtex Microseal Masonry Paint in Plymouth Grey, which you can get from Screwfix for £39.99.

She wrote in the video’s caption they sprayed the frames of their window’s matt black with Johnstone’s Exterior Black Masonry Paint.

The couple also painted their drain pipes black with Bedec Multi Surface Exterior Paint in Black Matt, and treated the pavement with Acid Etch to ready it for paint.

They then covered their driveway in white paint from Polar Premium Patio Floor paint in the colour Light Grey.

She said she had read the paint they used for the floor was “durable and it can even be power-washed.”

They took down their old pink house number plaque and added a new one which they painted black to match the rest of the exterior.

Maxine added they had the front of the house “partially rendered and chose a near-perfect colour match to the headers.”
