Fulham could hand Emile Smith Rowe, who is leaving Arsenal, his debut this Friday, according to the Evening Standard.
The attacker has failed to command a regular spot in the Arsenal team in the last two seasons and now he is set to leave the club.
Crystal Palace and Fulham showed interest in him and Cottagers boss Marco Silva played a crucial part in convincing Smith Rowe to choose Fulham.
Fulham will pay a £27m fee to Arsenal across four years with the rest of the £7m to be paid in performance related bonuses.
It has been suggested that Smith Rowe’s medical will take place in the next 24 hours before he becomes a Fulham player.
Fulham will play Benfica this Friday and it has been suggested that the Cottagers could hand Smith Rowe his debut in Portugal.
He was with the Arsenal first-team for the US tour but he left the camp earlier this week to complete his switch.
Now it remains to be seen if his deal will be finalised before the Cottagers face Benfica in a pre-season friendly.
