Union Health Minister J P Nadda emphasized the importance of a One Health approach, integrating human, animal, and environmental health, to tackle zoonotic diseases like Nipah and Covid-19. The National One Health Mission aims to enhance disease surveillance, research, and pandemic preparedness, supported by a financial outlay of Rs 386.86 crore.
