'Too slow:' Trump's own followers troll campaign over new Harris attack ad

Donald Trump's new attack ad against Vice President Kamala Harris was trolled Tuesday by his own followers.

Campaign spokesperson Chris La Civita shared on Twitter the 30-second video targeting Harris' work on immigration within President Joe Biden's administration.

"She's failed us," the narrator says. "Kamala Harris: Failed, weak and dangerously liberal."

La Civita's conservative followers were less than impressed.

"Too slow," wrote Butterscotch, an X user who regularly posts conservative content. "By the time Mitt Romney started ads Obama had already defined him."

"There are better ads out there on Tiktok," wrote Trump supporter American Patriot Press. "These old mer style ads are not as effective as the new ads we're seeing by Dilley Meme Team etc."

"You need to get Pres Trump on X," replied X user Valhalla rising. "Right now!"

"Fox just showed she called herself fearless in her first ad," replied MAGA X user Focused on '24. "You should parody her ad."

La Civita also received a slew of mocking responses from Harris supporters who called Trump and his campaign "chicken" for backing away from a presidential debate.

"Ok, creepy weirdo," wrote Art Vandelay. "You reek of desperation."

"Dumb ad," added Harris supporter JerseySal. "Fearmongering in 20 seconds or less."

"You forgot to call her a childless cat lady," wrote X user @notgivingup1110. "That’s your go to in this loathsome party. Women have no respect and dwindling rights with republicans."

"More or less dangerous than the guy with 34 felony convictions who tried to overthrow the government?" asked @AnUglyReckoning. "You suck at this LaCivita, we’re gonna kick your a-- in November."
