Reina, whose career has seen him play for an enviable list of European heavyweights, has penned a one-year deal with Serie A newcomers Como.

The Italian club, who were promoted from Serie B last term, are managed by Reina’s former Spain team-mate and fellow Premier League hero Fabregas.

Fabregas and Reina were both part of Vicente del Bosque’s 2010 World Cup-winning squad.

And in footballing tradition, Reina was forced to perform an initiation track to his adoring team-mates.

The 41-year-old uploaded a video of himself dancing on a chair and singing into a plastic bottle, while his colleagues clapped along.

He sang a hilarious rendition of “La Bamba”  – the iconic Mexican folk song – and appeared to be quite pleased with himself over his choice in music.

And fans relished in the hysterical clip.

Taking to X, one embellishing fan wrote: “50 years old and still doing initiation songs.”
