OSBI: Ada man charged with sexual abuse of a child

An Ada man is facing child sexual abuse charges, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

ADA, Okla. (KFOR) - An Ada man is facing child sexual abuse charges, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

The OSBI says on July 17, 2024, the Pontotoc County District Attorney's Office asked for the bureau's help with a child abuse investigation.

Based on the evidence found during the investigation, OSBI special agents say they determined 72-year-old Michael Priest committed multiple acts of sexual assault towards a child.

Officials say Priest was arrested on July 25 and booked into the Pontotoc County Jail on Sexual Abuse of a Child charges.

The investigation is ongoing.
