Microsoft reports global issues with cloud service

KANSAS (KSNT) - On Tuesday, Microsoft issued an alert warning that the company is facing network infrastructure issues.

At 8:26 a.m. on Tuesday, Microsoft Azure warned that customers using Microsoft Azure services may experience timeouts when connecting to its cloud platform.

Microsoft Azure is a platform of more than 200 products and cloud services. Of the Fortune 500 companies that use Azure, 95 percent rely on it for cloud services.

The connection issues are impacting network infrastructure in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.

Microsoft reports that it has multiple engineering teams working to resolve the issue. Microsoft said more details would be provided as soon as possible.
