Stuyvesant Plaza to host summer fun series
The Summer Fridays on The Lawn and the Lattes and Littles series are coming to the plaza in August.
GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Stuyvesant Plaza announced the beginning of its summer fun series on Tuesday. The Summer Fridays on The Lawn and the Lattes and Littles series are coming to the plaza in August.
The Summer Fridays on The Lawn series will run every Friday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. starting August 2. The series will feature live music or DJ beats and include cocktails or mocktails.
The Summer Fridays on The Lawn schedule and music lineup is as follows:
- August 2 – Beats by DJ RVMBA
- August 9 – Angelina Valente Duo Live Performance
- August 16 – Caity Gallagher Duo Live Performance
- August 23 – Beats by DJ Nate Da Great
The Lattes and Littles series will feature rotating kid-friendly creative activities and breakfast fare on The Lawn. The series will be offered on alternate Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. from August 1 to September 26 with caregivers and children up to seven years old welcome to attend.
The Lattes & Littles schedule is as follows:
- August 1 – Reading Hour with Rapunzel
- August 15 – Rhythm & Ribbons with DJ Trumastr
- August 29 – Andy The Music Man
- September 12 – Jani Poppins Bubble Parties
- September 26 – Summer Fun on The Lawn (Hula hoops, ribbons, activity books and more)
Tickets for the Summer Fridays on The Lawn and the Lattes and Littles series can be found on Eventbrite. Tickets are limited, nonrefundable, and must be purchased at least an hour in advance of each event.
