Exhibition at hotel takes a journey into Paphos landscape

The natural beauty of Paphos is the inspiration behind an exhibition opening at Minthis resort. Running from Friday to August 31, Minthis Hills will host the Nature Trails exhibition featuring works by esteemed artists Giota Ioannidou and Aristotelis Dimitriou.

Through specially-curated pieces, the exhibition explores the essence of light, soul and the Paphos landscape while touching on myths and traditions. The two artists, both alumni from the Athens School of Arts, blend their distinct stylistic and conceptual pursuits into a holistic presentation of art.

Dimitriou captures Paphos’ beaches with abundant light, drawing inspiration from his deep connection with the sea. His works feature women immersed in the tranquillity of coastal scenes, in mysterious and almost metaphysical atmospheres, inviting viewers to contemplate the intersections of personal reflection and collective observation.

In contrast, Ioannidou intertwines red threads around trees to highlight themes of human connection, destiny and spiritual exploration. Her works emphasise the broad importance of this symbol, reminding viewers how life is interconnected with the profound spiritual meaning behind our daily relations.
