Conor McGregor SUPPORTS Dana White’s shock decision to axe undefeated star Mokaev after UFC 304 win
CONOR MCGREGOR has appeared to back Dana White’s decision not to re-sign Muhammad Moakev to the UFC.
The MMA bigwig revealed the promotion has decided against handing the undefeated Russian-born Brit a new contract after his UFC 304 victory over Manel Kape last weekend.

Mokaev had angered the brass by sucker-punching Kape at the fighter hotel earlier in the week after asking him to pose for a photo.
The 23-year-old claimed in the post-fight press conference the UFC weren’t fans of his wrestling-heavy style.
That prompted White to say: “I am sure one of the matchmakers probably said something to him or whatever.
“But yeah, the matchmakers aren’t a big fan of his for many different reasons.”
When pressed further, the veteran promoter said: “I think the PFL is gonna get a great undefeated guy. Good luck to him.”
White’s revelation that Mokaev – who is 7-0 in the octagon – won’t be re-signed stunned fight fans around the world.
But former two-division champion McGregor is seemingly on board with the decision.
Commenting on a video of White confirming Mokaev’s departure, ‘The Notorious’ wrote: “They can have him.”

The UFC have moved quickly with their dismissal of Mokaev, removing him from their rankings.
But the Dagestani-born Wigan warrior is still holding out hope of penning a new deal with the promotion.
‘The Punisher’ wrote on X: “I want to fight for the belt and I hope the UFC give me a new contract.
“My contract is finished, you see. I hope they give me new contract.”
