Ever since we started applying makeup, we’ve been searching for a lipstick that can do it all. Every year, we’re led back to the iconic Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey. Seriously, there’s a reason it’s a cult classic, but the steep price of $25 has made many look for cheaper alternatives to Black Honey.

However, we just found out two things that made us want to snap up as many as we can.

Per Polygon, the makeup artist for Lord of the Rings revealed the team used this lipstick on Liv Tyler for her character Arwen in Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

The deep-to-sheer appearance looks different on every other user, but it’s beloved for being universally flattering. “I was skeptical about this product being perfect on every skin color. Well, I love it! It is truly a shade that works perfectly on everyone. And it’s subtle enough for everyday wear. It goes in smooth and does not try your lips or leave it feeling sticky like others,” one shopper said.
