U.S. dollar little changed

NEW YORK, July 30 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar was almost flat in late trading on Tuesday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, lost 0.01 percent to 104.555 at 3:00 p.m. (1900 GMT).

In late New York trading, the euro decreased to 1.0811 U.S. dollars from 1.0822 U.S. dollars in the previous session, and the British pound lost to 1.2833 U.S. dollars from 1.2864 U.S. dollars
