Fall mini-series registration, info

Registration pages and basic info for the fall mini-series (the Overnight 200k, the Champlain 200/300k, and the Cape Cod 200/400k) are now up!  Some details, including final routes and start times, are still TBD, and additional information will be added to the pages as we get RUSA course approval and check sunrise/sunset times, etc.

All three are a great way to introduce new riders to longer distances and overnight riding – bring a friend!  Try a longer distance for the first time!    (As always, a current, valid RUSA membership is necessary to ride all rides; you should register with RUSA at least a week before the event you plan to ride to make sure your registration is processed.)      Some quick previews:

Back for the first time in several years, the Overnight 200k will run a similar route up to Southern NH, but updated to start and end in Medford, MA.  Check out a past Overnight 200k Ride Report for a preview.  This ride provides a way to get used to a night start (like PBP) or just general night-time navigation, while also being only 200k long.  It’s also a way to beat the August heat by avoiding the mid-day sun.

The Lake Champlain 200k/300k is also a revival, bringing back this classic gorgeous VT set of routes.  It will start in South Burlington, similar to the 2019 running.  Both routes run counterclockwise around the lake, grabbing amazing lake views throughout.   The 200k hops on a ferry and the 300k continues around to the first bridge on the south end, making for an adventure either way.  There’s a few miles of flat, well-packed, road-bike friendly dirt on both routes.

Finally, the Provincetown 200k/400k is a brand-new pair of routes, covering a classic New England challenge, but one new to NER – the entire length of Cape Cod (and back, for 400k riders!).  Close out the season in style or try the 400k distance for the first time!
