MAGA mocked amid meltdown over 'severed Trump head' after Green Day singer holds up mask

Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong held up a plastic Donald Trump mask with the word “idiot” scrawled on the forehead at a show in Washington, D.C. this week, sending MAGA devotees into a spiral on social media.

A photo of Armstrong lofting the smirking Trump mask made the rounds on X Thursday as the words “severed Trump" trended.

“They decided it’d be a good idea to hold up a severed Trump head. Just TWO WEEKS after he was sh*t in the head,” internet personality Nick Sortor wrote along with the photo of Armstrong. “These people are SICK.”

The post was shared thousands of times, piling on the outrage from Trump’s base.

“If a Republican did that with a severed Biden or Harris head - early morning FBI raid, shackles and prison time,” wrote @Gracelyn72.

The uproar was met with an equal onslaught of mockery, with many calling out reactions to the photo as overly dramatic.
