Watch the shock final moment that ‘gives away’ Love Island’s Sean ‘thinks wrong couple won’ – did you spot it?

LOVE Island’s Sean Stone has come under fire by fans after a “tell-tale” moment that gave away his feelings on who won.

On Monday night, Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan were crowned the winners of this year’s Love Island in the nail-biting series finale after securing 41% of the public vote.

Maya Jama announced the news live on air, with Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies coming in second place with 35% of the vote.

Sean Stone came in third place alongside Matilda Draper with 14% of the public vote, while Ayo Odukoya and Jessica Spencer finishing in fourth with 10%.

However, on watching the show play out in real time, fans noticed that, amid the crowd of former islanders, Sean was seen shaking his head at the result.

One furious fan captured the moment, and wrote: “how is he hating on Mimi and Josh WINNING???? This is why I’m glad he didn’t place top 2 or win, he didn’t even deserve 3rd place no shade”

“Sean still shaking his head,” noted a second.

“Pretty sure I just saw Sean shaking his head at another islander asif they shouldn’t have won,” said a third.

Sean was an original member of this year’s series, and throughout the series run found himself in bitter feuds and fallouts with other cast members.

This included fans branding him a “snake” after he opted to vote out his friend Omar Nyame as it would “do him a favour” in getting with Matilda.

Omar later celebrated Sean and Matilda losing out on the £50,000 prize money by dancing with a packet of Haribo – which many took as a swipe to “candy man” Sean who had been long-flogging his position as a sweet enterpreneur.

Since leaving the villa, Sean also admitted he felt blindsided by his in-villa bestie Joey Essex leaving him vulnerable for elimination by choosing him and Matilda as “least compatible couple”.

He’s since implied his friendship with the star is over as they had back to reality.

Joey came in fifth place, being booted from the show in a brutal final dumping alongside Jessy Potts.

He was given his marching orders by former islanders who returned to cast their vote for least compatible couple.

Fans also noted that Joey looked “sour” during the finale after missing out.

Love Island is available on catch-up on ITVX.
