Coronation Street hunk reveals his wife is pregnant with second baby – 18 years after steamy onscreen love triangle
CORONATION Street star Sushil Chudasama has revealed his wife is pregnant with their second baby.
The actor – who played Scooter Makuna on the ITV soap in 2005, shared the happy news on Instagram on Wednesday.
Sushil and his wife Kimby shared a photo of their little daughter holding a chalkboard with the sweet announcement.
It read: “Yay! I’m going to be a big sister. Autumn 2024.”
They captioned the post: “The star w18 months of our little snow bear.
“And a very special announcement…Bring on the next adventure…”
His fans were delighted with the news, with one writing: “Congratulations you three (four!!) absolutely wonderful news.”
A second posted: “This is just such wonderful news! And I can’t believe she is 18 months old, gorgeous girl.”
The actor was best known for his steamy affair with Corrie favourite Sarah Platt, while she was also dating Jason Grimshaw.
The hapless character ended up leaving the cobbles soon after an almighty argument with Sarah, played by Tina O’Brien.
He had only been in the ITV soap for ten months.
Sushil is now working as a business development executive for a safety group – but occasionally returns to his acting roots.
He’s also a BBC presenter for BBC Lancashire.
Sushil has also appeared in a number of films in Collision in 2009 and Blue Murder in 2003.
Some fans may also remember him as Hardeep in 2006 series Drop Dead Gorgeous.
