Emmerdale character in shock exit as they quit the village after relationship fall out

BELLE Dingle left the village in tonight’s episode of Emmerdale – and Tom King was left fuming.

Belle has recently realised that her husband Tom was controlling her for months, tracking her phone and keeping an eye on her through security cameras in their home.

And last week, the couple took a trip to Wales, where Belle was shocked to discover that Tom was planning for them to move their permanently.

Their holiday turned into a nightmare as Tom continued to gaslight Belle, locking her in the house and even violently attacking her.

Thankfully, Belle managed to get away, and later ended their marriage.

Tom has let Belle live in their home alone with their pet dog Piper, but Tom continues to try and worm his way back into Belle’s life.

Can Belle stand up to him?

Tonight’s episode saw Belle get annoyed at Tom for talking to her like their “best buds.”

Charity suggested that she get away for a bit and visit Cain and Debbie Dingle.

Belle made it clear that she doesn’t want to run away, but Charity insisted the break may be good for her.

Tom managed to catch Belle before Charity drove her out of the Dales.

He asked: “You going somewhere?”

Charity informed him: “She’s just going to stay with Debs for a bit.”

Belle added: “Just to clear my head.”

Tom replied: “I would have given you a lift if you asked.”

An annoyed Belle answered: “I would have driven myself if you hadn’t sold my car.”

Tom asked: “When are you back?”

A frustrated Belle replied: “I don’t know Tom! When I am ready.”

When Tom insisted that he should keep Piper, Belle stood up to him saying she wants her with her.

Tom laughed and said: “I can’t believe you are doing this to me,” as he watched her get in the car and drive away.

Has Belle got rid of Tom for good? And when will she return to Emmerdale?
