Delhi-NCR receives heavy rainfall, IMD issues red alert

Rains lashed Delhi-NCR on Wednesday evening with a red alert issued for Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, and Ghaziabad by the India Meteorological Department, warning of heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning throughout the evening, accompanied by winds ranging from 30-50 kmph, causing waterlogging, traffic congestion, and the diversion of 10 flights between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm.
