Topeka Pete Davidson standup ticketholders refunded

TOPEKA (KSNT) - People planning on attending the upcoming Pete Davidson standup comedy event in Topeka are getting refunds.

On July 29, those who purchased tickets through TicketMaster received an email informing them the Pete Davidson standup event had been canceled by event organizers. The email said people who purchased tickets can expect to see a refund hit their account within 14 to 21 days.

27 News contacted the Topeka Performing Arts Center (TPAC) about the cancellation. Marketing coordinator Shawn Brian said he couldn't comment on the cancelation but did confirm the tour notified TPAC of the cancellation on Monday.

Davidson has featured on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” in the past from 2014-2022. He is also the creator, executive producer, writer and star of Peacock’s comedy show “Bupkis.” He has also worked on and starred in movies like “Trainwreck,” “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” “Big Time Adolescence,” “Set It Up,” and “Meet Cute.”
