Arnold Schwarzenegger Seen in Rare Photo With His Grandchildren
Schwarzenegger celebrated his 77th birthday on Tuesday.
Arnold Schwarzenegger celebrated his 77th birthday on Tuesday, and Chris Pratt paid tribute to his father-in-law on social media with a rare photo of the multi-hyphenate actor, businessman, former politician, and professional bodybuilder with his two grandkids.
"Happy Birthday Arnold!" the 45-year-old actor wrote. "You’re one of a kind. Looking forward to another year of sage advice, good cigars, chess whoopings, and hand-feeding homemade cookies to the many barn animals that live in your kitchen."
In the accompanying photos, Schwarzenegger could be seen embroiled in a tense game of chess with Pratt, who is married to his daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger, and posing together with one of his dogs. In the final picture, Schwarzenegger appears in his kitchen with his two grandchildren, Lyla, 3, Eloise, 2, along with his beloved pet pig Schnelly.
Pratt and his second wife recently revealed that they are expecting a third child together. The Guardians of the Galaxy star likewise shares a son Jack, 11, with his first wife, actress Anna Faris.
Earlier this year, Pratt shared in an interview the advice Schwarzenegger had given him about raising a family in Hollywood.
"He has the experience of raising kids in the spotlight and being an actor, a well-known person, and a celebrity," Pratt told Extra back in May while promoting The Garfield Movie. "It’s really great to have the wisdom of his experience to go to and to talk to about certain things that normally I would talk to my brother or my cousin or people that I grew up with and they might not be able to relate with certain things."
"So with him, it's been a real blessing to have someone that I can turn to and ask questions," he added. "He’s got a really great point of view, and it has definitely enriched my life."
