Had a flight to nice cancelled whilst we was in the airport (30 mins to departure)

Has anyone experienced this before with easyJet on how easy it is to claim compensation etc and travel expenses? I see everywhere they’re notoriously difficult to claim through, so if anyone has any tips it’ll be appreciated.

For context was originally meant to fly tonight from Manchester, we’re now flying Friday morning from Gatwick etc, any tips if it’s easyJet or travel insurance who provide the refund for the hotel etc?

It depends if the airline is at fault or not. 30 mins before departure suggests their fault.

If their fault go to the airline direct don't use a third-party. They should pay you £220 per person
