Three teens injured in Beacon stabbing

Beacon Police announced they are investigating a multi-victim stabbing that occurred on Wednesday morning.

BEACON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Beacon Police announced they are investigating a multi-victim stabbing that occurred on Wednesday morning. Police say three people were injured during the incident.

On July 31 around 12:17 a.m., police responded to Looper's Plaza at the intersection of South and Wolcott Avenues in Beacon following reports of a disturbance. Upon searching the area, officers located a group walking away from the scene near South Avenue Park.

Among the group was a 16-year-old who was bleeding from the head. According to police, the teen stated that he had been stabbed after being engaged in a fight.

The teen was taken to St. Luke's Hospital to be treated for a non-life-threatening injury. Shortly thereafter, police received word that a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old believed to be associated with the altercation had also been brought to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening lacerations.
