Megan Moroney Addresses Morgan Wallen Relationship, Says They Were Never Exclusive

Megan Moroney is opening up about romance rumors surrounding her and Morgan Wallen.

The 26-year-old country music singer made an appearance on a new episode of Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper and was asked about the romance, to which she has previously remained coy about.

“Never exclusively,” Megan said. “I have so tried to avoid that in every single interview I’ve ever done. But we’re here now and time has passed and all is well.”

Alex then asked if her song “Tennessee Orange” was about him, to which she replied, “I will not say who my songs are about ever.”

Megan shared about her relationship with Morgan that it was never a “relationship.”

“Here’s what I will tell you though, because I haven’t told anyone this ever,” she continued. “So him and I met in 2020. Jon Langston actually introduced us. I was a senior in college — COVID hadn’t happened yet, his Dangerous album wasn’t even out yet. So we were friends for a long time… We were not just friends. And now we’re friends.”

In keeping it private, Megan said, “It’s not that hard. I feel like he’s a very private person… We weren’t exclusively dating ever and I think both of our schedules, like we have insane, when we try to hang out, it’s like okay, we have this one day of the whole month where we’re both maybe in town and then someone’s got something going on. It was like sort of thing. But him and I are friends.”
