Overviewv. 1.21 – Jan 2015About this guidePart of the magic of Eidolon is that at the beginning of the game the player is unceremoniously dropped into a vast open world and is given no introduction to the story or the gameplay – you are left to figure things out for yourself, much like that awkwardly themed junior prom you now realize there was no reason to attend other than the afterparty. Since this trial-by-fire is part of the game’s intended flow, you should be aware that a guide such as this one could reasonably be construed as a “spoilerfest” in some quarters. My purpose in creating this basic guide is simply to compile some information about the game’s concepts and mechanics, but my personal recommendation is that you log some game time and learn as much as you can organically before then consulting this guide as a reference.
