Severe thunderstorm warning for some NE Kansas counties

TOPEKA (KSNT) - The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a severe thunderstorm warning for several northeast Kansas counties.

According to the NWS, Clay, Dickinson, Geary, Morris and Riley Counties are in a severe thunderstorm warning Wednesday evening. With this severe storm, wind gusts up to 60 mile per hour and one-inch hail could appear in some areas. The NWS advises people to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building for your protection.
