Pete Davidson Cancels Multiple Stops on Comedy Tour

Pete Davidson has been making audiences laugh for the past decade, whether that be at his comedy shows or on screen in Saturday Night Live and movies like Bodies Bodies Bodies. The SNL alum has been on tour this summer performing stand-up, but many of these dates have now been scrapped amid reports surrounding Davidson's personal life.

People magazine reports that Davidson is taking some time away from the spotlight and has checked into a wellness facility seeking mental health treatment. The alleged move comes after he's performed more than 200 stand-up shows across the country and had dates scheduled in Kansas, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, and Texas later this summer and fall. An anonymous source told the magazine that mental health has "always been a priority" for Davidson and his friends and family are happy that he's putting himself first and tackling any struggles head-on.

WYOU previously reported that his show in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania was canceled due to scheduling conflicts, per the venue in which he was set to perform. It comes a year after Davidson entered a facility to deal with issues relating to PTSD and borderline personality disorder.

When he emerged from treatment last year, the one-of-a-kind funnyman was quick to make light of the situation.

"I am fresh out of rehab, everyone," he told his audience at a September 2023 show, per The Los Angeles Times. "I got that post-rehab glow. Seventh time’s the charm!"

Ticketholders will be refunded for the cancelled shows. Davidson's latest movie The Home is due out later this year.
