Councillor hits out at ongoing delays to reopen Cannock Minor Injuries Unit

A councillor has hit out at ongoing delays to the re-opening of Cannock’s Minor Injuries Unit after its “temporary” closure more than four years ago.

The Cannock Chase Hospital-based centre closed in March 2020 to enable staff to provide support for patients needing urgent care at Wolverhampton’s New Cross Hospital at the start of the Covid pandemic.
