But luckily, cash-savvy food lovers have spotted a bargain deal at a major supermarket where you can now enjoy the cheesy favourite for a fraction of the price.

What’s more, not only will you save money compared to a pricey visit to your favourite pizza place, but this DIY at-home fakeaway is also the perfect way to whip up a meal with your kids during the school holidays.

Not one to gatekeep, one shopper and mum, Debbie Howarth, took to Facebook to inform fellow parents about the fabulous offer she’d spotted earlier.

According to Debbie, the huge retailer Morrisons are now selling pizza kits that come with al the necessary basic ingredients, including the dough.

The box, which weighs around 420g, also features shredded cheese, a rich tomato sauce for the base, as well as bits of ham and tiny chunks of pineapple.

The £3 kit – which will set you back £5 if you were to bag two thanks to the special offer – also comes with different toppings if you’re not a fan of the sweet fruit.

Meat lovers, for instance, can snap up a similar kit with slices of pepperoni or opt for their ”extra cheesy” option – a must if you love mozzarella.

”Children DIY pizza £3 each or 2 for £5 at morrisons,” Debbie wrote in her post shared on the popular Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group.

Needless to say, the news of the scrumptious treat taking over Morrisons has gone viral on the platform, especially amongst parents who are looking for ways to entertain their kids.

More than 1.4k people gave the post a like, as over 1k members flocked to comments to tag their pals and let them know about the deal.

”Such a good idea,” one shopper praised the big brand.

Another told their friend: ”This would be good one night.”

”You can also pay 50p extra for any other toppings from the normal counter pizza menu,” a third claimed.

”These look cool for the kids,” someone else thought.
