Katie Price ordered to pay back £25,000 in bankruptcy case after warrant is issued for her arrest
KATIE Price has been ordered to stump up a whopping £25,000 immediately after being declared bankrupt twice.
The former glamour model, 46, swerved the court date for her bankruptcy hearing earlier this week – instead deciding to jet on holiday to Turkey with her new man.
Katie then insisted she was “going to enjoy” her sun-soaked getaway despite the court judge then issuing a warrant for her arrest.
Yet living the high life in the luxury holiday resort may be more difficult now she’s been slapped with a hefty payment order.
Judge Catherine Burton said Katie has so far failed to make the payments ordered by the court.
She was previously ordered to pay a one-off payment of £25,000, followed by monthly instalments of £12,500.
Judge Burton said: “They have not received any funds or explanation.
“She agreed to pay it and did not.
“She remains immediately obliged to pay £25,000.”
The mum of five has also been ordered to sell up her huge car collection in an attempt to lessen some of her debts.
On Katie’s drive currently sits a Volkswagen Beetle, a Nissan Elgrand, a black Range Rover Vogue, a pink one, a Suzuki Vitara and an Infiniti FX50 – amounting to a whopping £280k.

At the court hearing earlier this week, Judge Catherine Barton said: “It is in my judgment necessary that the court issue a warrant for Ms Price’s arrest.

- December 2021: Katie avoided jail for flipping her BMW in a smash in Horsham, while under the influence of drink and drugs. She was instead handed a 16-week prison sentence suspended for a year, 100 hours community service and ordered to attend 20 rehab sessions.
- The cash-strapped mum-of-five was first declared bankrupt in 2019 in a bankruptcy court, over unpaid debts of £3.2 million
- Katie was declared bankrupt by a bankruptcy court for a second time in March over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05
- May 2024: Katie was served an eviction notice by the courts relating to her Mucky Mansion home following her second bankruptcy.
“She has no real excuse in failing to attend today’s hearing.”
Katie is battling a £760,000 unpaid tax bill after being declared bankrupt for a second time in March.
Previously, Katie swerved her bankruptcy court hearing to holiday in Ayia Napa with JJ, with The Sun then exclusively revealing the pair opted to get matching tattoos as a sign of their love.
We previously told how she owes £142,405 and £196,735 for the tax years 2020-2021 and 2021-2022, plus £140,000 in VAT.
Meanwhile, this week, Katie issued a statement on social media, insisting she is “fully aware of the severity of her current personal financial situation.”
Insisting she is in Turkey filming a documentary on corrective surgery, Katie added: “I have and I am continuing to cooperate with the relevant people on matters to the best of my ability which will be addressed after my return from work.”
