At least 30 dead, 35 missing after torrential rains: China state media

At least 30 people have died and 35 are missing in central China due to severe rainfall caused by Typhoon Gaemi, which recently hit the region. The hilly Hunan province experienced record rainfall, leading to the evacuation of over 11,000 people from Zixing city. The torrential downpours disrupted roads, power, and communication.
