I’m trolled for the list of jobs I never do for my man – but I’m not a slave or his PA, so I won’t wash his dirty pants

A MUM has sparked a fierce debate after sharing a lengthy list of all the things she ”refuses” to do for her hubby.

In the now-viral video, working mother-of-four Paige Turner emphasised that she was her partner’s wife – and ”not his mum” and didn’t agree with taking on more load than her fair share.

Whilst some agreed with her, others reckoned these were simply ‘small acts of kindness’

“I don’t do his laundry,” she began, explaining who is responsible for what garments.

“He can do that himself. I do my laundry, and we do the kid’s laundry. He does his own.”

She then went on to reveal the kitchen and cooking duties, saying: “He cooks dinner every single night. I do breakfast and lunch for the kids.

”If he’s hungry, he’ll figure out what he’s gonna eat for lunch the same way that I do.”

Paige also said that when it comes to contacting a doctor for an appointment, it’s down for her hubby to do that himself without the help of her.

”I want him to be healthy but he’s a grown a** man, he can book his own appointments.”

Other things the busy mum-of-four won’t be doing for her man include booking his haircuts, packing his outfits for holidays and buying him new undergarments when his old ones have become covered in holes.

”All of those” the husband ”can do himself”, as Paige was neither a ”personal secretary or his personal assistant”.

Rather than being a slave ”catering to him”, the wife was ”his partner” and ”his equal”.

Whilst some felt as if Paige was totally heartless in her approach, Paige noted that she still did small acts of kindness – but not in the form of household chores piling on top of one another.

For instance, if Paige popped into a store and spotted a vinyl she knew her man liked, she’d purchase it – same with a scrumptious treat from the supermarket.

The video, which has been viewed more tan 5million times, clearly resonated with many, with one saying: “He married me, he didn’t hire me!” and “Love this for you queen!”

“Preach. Parenting your spouse is such a turn-off,” echoed a second.

A third agreed: “Exactly how it should be. Teamwork, not servitude.”

However, someone else wondered: “Why don’t you guys put all the laundry in together? It’s all getting washed anyway, this just seems like more work for everyone to me.”
