Latest iPhone 16 leak reveals 5 new colours fans think are ‘hideous’ – and it’s not the only part people hate

A NEW iPhone 16 leak has emerged purporting to reveal five colours for this year’s model.

But Apple fans have slammed the possible designs, saying they look like the “colours used in public toilets”.

And colour choice isn’t the only part internet users aren’t happy about.

Some criticised the layout of the camera too.

“Those colors are hideous,” one Reddit user commented.

“The blue and green looks horrible,” another wrote.

“Not sure yet if it just looks unusual or it’s a bit ugly indeed,” a third said.

If the leaks are to be believed, the main iPhone 16 model will come in the following colours:

  • White
  • Black
  • Blue
  • Green
  • Pink

Meanwhile, a separate photo claims to show the Pro Max in white, black and grey.

The images were posted on X by tech reviewer Sonny Dickson – see the leaked shots here.

However, these are only early dummy models at best, with the iconic Apple logo noticeably missing from the back.

As for the camera, people aren’t impressed with the seeming continuation of a bump design.

“All I want is a camera that sits flush with the body,” one iPhone user said.

“The camera bumps are getting ridiculous,” a second person agreed.

A third added: “That looks so much worse than the 12 camera design.”

Apple is remaining tight-lipped about what the iPhone 16 will look like – and if it’s even called the iPhone 16 for that matter.

What we do know is it’s highly likely to be heavily infused with AI, after the company’s big Apple Intelligence announcement a few months ago.

Apple Intelligence will eventually include the option to use a re-designed Siri that’s more natural to use, knows more about what you’re doing on your phone, and can interact with apps like never before.

And Siri will be able to tap into ChatGPT to provide you answers to your questions.

However, some features may not be ready in time for the iPhone 16, which is slatted to launch sometime in the autumn when Apple traditionally unveils new handsets.

THE OFFICIAL WORD FROM TIM COOK

Here's what Apple CEO Tim Cook had to say about Apple Intelligence...

“We’re thrilled to introduce a new chapter in Apple innovation,” Tim explained.

“Apple Intelligence will transform what users can do with our products — and what our products can do for our users.

“Our unique approach combines generative AI with a user’s personal context to deliver truly helpful intelligence.

“And it can access that information in a completely private and secure way to help users do the things that matter most to them.

“This is AI as only Apple can deliver it, and we can’t wait for users to experience what it can do.”
