Research house sees Malaysian ringgit appreciate against USD at year-end

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- A research house said on Thursday that the Malaysian ringgit would appreciate against the U.S. dollar at year-end.

MIDF Research said in a note that it expects the recent appreciation of the ringgit to continue on the back of strong expectations for the Federal Reserve (Fed) to begin embarking on rate cuts from the final quarter of 2024.
