India's iron ore production rises 9.7 pc to 79 MT in April-June

Iron ore production in India saw a 9.7% increase, reaching 79 million tonnes in the first quarter, compared to 72 million tonnes in the same period last year. Limestone and manganese ore production also rose. The growth indicates strong demand in sectors like steel, cement, construction, and machinery.
