Channing Tatum Teases 'Absolutely Bonkers' Character In 'Blink Twice,' Calls Fiancée Director Zoe Kravitz 'Insanely Smart'

A brand new featurette for the upcoming movie Blink Twice was just released!

In the clip for the psychological thriller, star Channing Tatum teases his character and praises the writer and director, Zoe Kravitz, who is also, of course, now his fiancée.

“Slater is a very calculated person,” Channing says of his character, Slater King. “So I got to create something absolutely bonkers.”

“Our director, Zoe Kravitz, is insanely smart. She leads from a place that isn’t just all heart, and it’s not all just brain. It’s something else, and that’s what the movie really feels like,” he added of his fiancée.

Here’s a synopsis for the movie: When tech billionaire Slater King (Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida (Naomi Ackie) at his fundraising gala, sparks fly. He invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. It’s paradise. Wild nights blend into sun soaked days and everyone’s having a great time. No one wants this trip to end, but as strange things start to happen, Frida begins to question her reality. There is something wrong with this place. She’ll have to uncover the truth if she wants to make it out of this party alive.

Also starring in the movie are Christian Slater, Simon Rex, Adria Arjona, Kyle MacLachlan, Haley Joel Osment, Geena Davis and Alia Shawkat.

Blink Twice is set to hit theaters on August 23rd!
