Even better, if you’re looking for nightwear that will have you feeling super nostalgic, then look no further.

A Primark store in Fort Kinnaird, in Edinburgh, has taken to social media to give shoppers a close-up look at the new Hello Kitty pyjama range, leaving many open-mouthed.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the fictional character, a white cat with a red bow and no visible mouth, which was created in 1974 by Yuko Shimizu, Primark has released a large variety of different pyjama options.

There’s loads to choose from in the nostalgic range – whether you prefer trousers or shorts, or maybe even just an oversized tee for bed, you’re sure to find something perfect for you.

If you’re a fan of wearing trousers to bed, there’s a pair of wide leg bottoms with an elasticated waistband and an all-over Hello Kitty design, for just £11.

To go alongside the pyjama bottoms, there’s a matching baby tee top, for only £9.

As well as this, you’re sure to dazzle in the new bright pink, graphic short sleeve t-shirt, which is just £8.

There’s also another Hello Kitty oversized nightshirt, which is not only cute, but comfortable too, and is just £12.

If that wasn’t enough, there’s even a vest and shorts matching set, for just £11.

Sizes range from XXS to XXXL, making this range suitable for a variety of different body shapes

Not only that, but there’s also a Hello Kitty shaped paddle hair brush too, which is only £4.

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @primarkfortkinnaird, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up a jaw-dropping 238,000 views.

FASHION FANS RAVE

Fashion fans were impressed with the new high-street buys and many were eager to stock up.

One person said: “I should go on a Hello Kitty shopping spree.”

Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it's down to four points.

  • They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They “do very little advertising”
  • While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
  • And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.

Another added: “RUNNING TO PRIMARK.”

A third commented: “Obsessed.”

At the same time, many shoppers confessed that they have already nabbed the new Hello Kitty range.

One Primark fan claimed: “I bought everything.”

The best selling Primark nostalgia pieces

IF it's nostalgia you're looking for, look no further than Primark.

Primark’s Miffy pyjama range left many shoppers feeling incredibly nostalgic recently.

Fashion fans claimed their ‘inner child was screaming’ when they spotted High School Musical and Hannah Montana sets on shelves.

90s fashionistas were left beaming when they spotted that leopard print maxi skirts had come back on trend.

But the new baby tees gave some shoppers ‘awful flashbacks’ to their teens.

And millennials were left divided when they spotted that ballet flats were back on shelves.

A second chimed in: “I have all of this.”

Meanwhile, other fashion fans were eager to tag their friends and loved ones in the comments, to alert them to the new range.

One woman tagged a Hello Kitty fan and beamed: “We should get matching.”

Another asked a friend: “Primark trip?”

Someone else mentioned a bargain hunter and suggested: “We need to go.”

Whilst a fourth simply wrote to a Primark shopper: “Buy me everything.”
