Deputies investigating fatal Johnsburg crash
JOHNSBURG, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Law enforcement responded to a crash Wednesday morning in the Town of Johnsburg. Tyler Sellingham, 28, died as a result of the collision.
Deputies from the Warren County Sheriff's Office responded to State Route 8 around 8:56 a.m. for reports of a crash involving a log truck. Law enforcement says Sellingham was driving a 2003 Honda Accord eastbound on State Route 8 when the car exited the travel lane.
The car crossed into the westbound lane and struck a 2025 Peterbilt tractor-trailer head-on. Deputies say Sellingham died as a result of injuries sustained from the crash.
The crash is currently under investigation. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the New York State Police, the Johnsburg Fire Department, the North Creek Fire Department, the Johnsburg Emergency Squad, and representatives from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
