Paul Rudd (‘Only Murders in the Building’): 2024 Emmys episode submission revealed

Gold Derby can exclusively reveal that Paul Rudd is entering the “Only Murders in the Building” episode titled “Thirty” as his 2024 Emmy Award submission for Best Comedy Supporting Actor. “Thirty” streamed on September 26, 2023 and is the ninth episode of the Hulu show’s third season.

In this installment, Rudd’s character Ben Glenroy has long passed away, but he’s still seen in flashbacks and visions as amateur sleuths Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez) try to recreate the last moments of his life. A pivotal moment of that fateful night occurred when Ben ate a poisoned cookie and wrote “F***ing Pig” on his own mirror because he cheated on his diet.
