‘In Scandinavia we call this summer,’ jokes Hojlund as injured Man Utd star strips to recover in cryotherapy chamber
FANS reckon Manchester United’s injured striker Rasmus Hojlund deserves a “cold” medal for his cool sense of humour.
The Dane posed topless in a freezing cryotherapy chamber and joked: “In Scandinavia we call this summer.”
Rasmus Hojlund impressed fans with his response to being in a chilly chamber[/caption] The frontman was injured while on Man Utd’s USA tour[/caption]Hojlund and new £52million centre-back Leny Yoro have handed United a double fitness headache on tour in the USA.
The former Atalanta attacker, 21, is likely to be out for six weeks with a hamstring problem.
And Yoro, 18, is expected to miss three months with a foot injury – a fractured metatarsal.
That’s led to suggestions United will speed up their transfer activity.
A move for England forward Ivan Toney can’t be ruled out, especially as Brentford have reportedly cut their asking price to £35million.
As for central defenders, Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite and Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt remain options.
However, Hojlund’s response to his treatment in a teeth-chatterer of a chilly chamber cheered up fans worried by United’s injuries.
He posted a snap of himself standing inside the special cubicle, stripped to just shorts, socks, slippers and a mask behind a see-through door that gave off a misty green look.

Alongside the picture, Hojlund posted the words: “Don’t worry. In Scandinavia we call this summer.”
“Bro was born a Viking,” responded one supporter on seeing the star’s proud, bare-chested shot.
“Bro’s caption game is too good,” wrote another.
And amongst his 2.4million Instagram followers, there were many who reckoned he’ll bounce back to hot form in September.
Others predicted he’ll leave defenders shivering in fear and will challenge for the GOLDEN BOOT in just his second season at Old Trafford.
That really would be going from sub-zero to hero!
