Mamou man arrested in connection with child pornography, drug charges
A resident of Mamou was arrested on charges related to possession of material connect to child sex abuse and drugs, according to Louisiana State Police Special Victim's Units.
MAMOU, La. (KLFY) -- A resident of Mamou was arrested on child pornography and drug charges, authorities said.
Trevor Matthews Sr., 42, was arrested and booked into the Evangeline Parish Correctional Center for pornography involving juveniles and possession of narcotics, officials said.
According to Louisiana State Police Special Victim’s Unit, an investigation linked him to an IP address that was downloading child sex materials. Police executed a search warrant at Matthews' residence finding child pornography and 15 grams of suspected marijuana.
Bond details were not released.
