Patients saved Rs 28,000 cr after buying medicines from Jan Aushadhi Kendras: Nadda

J P Nadda, Union Health Minister, announced that patients have saved over Rs 28,000 crore through the Prime Minister Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana, which offers discounted medicines and devices. The AMRIT scheme has also contributed to savings of Rs 24,273 crore. These schemes aim to make healthcare affordable for everyone, especially the poor and disadvantaged.
