We start the day with mainly dry conditions in place, but our stormy trend does return this afternoon. Expect highs in the upper 80s, with a muggy feel. Then during the mid-afternoon and evening, scattered storms roll right back in. That storm activity starts to clear up tonight.

To kick off our weekend, Saturday will still be fairly muggy, but temps drop back to the middle 80s. Shower activity will be much less widespread, with just isolated shower chances throughout the day.

Sunday will be the nicer weekend day. Highs will be near 90, but humidity will be much lower, and we'll see a good bit of sunshine.

We kick off the next workweek on a mainly dry note, with a few spotty shower chances toward the midweek.
