During the proceedings, the High Court requested the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) to appoint a senior official to monitor the investigation. The court also noted that there are issues in the functioning of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) and that a comprehensive review of the entire setup is necessary.
