'Black job': Simone Biles takes social media by storm with apparent swipe at Trump

Olympic gymnast Simone Biles took an apparent swipe at Donald Trump on social media, leading to widespread cheering.

Singer Ricky Davila appears to have started it all with a simple message posted to X:

"Simone Biles being the GOAT, winning Gold medals and dominating gymnastics is her black job," he said. The quote was an apparent reference to Trump, who has said illegal immigrants are coming to the U.S. and stealing "black jobs" from our existing citizens.

In response to Davila, Biles wrote, "I love my black job."

This caused an uproar in the comments, with one user, @DrDinD, saying, "Excellent! I know someone ready for a black job promotion!" The commenter included a photo of Vice President Kamala Harris, who is running for president.

Another user, @bennetthaselton, joked, "hang on Trump is saying you only just recently became Black," in reference to the ex-president's recent comments about Harris at an event for Black journalists.

@royal_bobby24 said, "Nah this is black excellence right there" with a photo of Biles performing her gymnastics routine.
