WHEN you feel exhausted or dehydrated, it can feel tempting to pop a filter on your dry, tired skin.

But what if you could achieve that filtered look IRL instead?

A medical aesthetics clinic has revealed it is bringing two exciting treatments to Scotland for the first time as part of a big expansion.

The Aesthetics Club is now welcoming clients to the newly opened Newton Mearns clinic which offers a wide range of cutting-edge treatments administered by a specialist team, including two doctors.

Among the aesthetic and skincare treatments on offer are Oxylight and Moxi Laser Treatment – neither of which has been offered in Scotland before.

The Oxylight machine – which had to be ordered in from America – hydrates, tones and tightens the skin, to give a ‘filtered skin’ look.

The Aesthetic Club’s team trained in the US to use the innovative technology, which is currently only offered elsewhere in the UK at Harrods, The Rosewood and Bulgari Hotels in London.

Meanwhile, Moxi, which works as a non-ablative resurfacing skin treatment, will be offered for the first time north of the border.

And skincare fans will also be excited to discover that the clinic will be flogging Hailey Bieber’s favourite skincare brand too.

The Biologique Recerche range is a coveted French skincare brand which uses intentionally pure, raw active ingredients.

The Aesthetics Club’s founder and clinical director Fiona Ross is a qualified, independent nurse prescriber and an advanced aesthetics trainer.

She said: “We’re ecstatic to announce our latest clinic will open in the Southside of Glasgow, offering all of our transformative treatments including two new, exciting machines, BBL Hero & Moxi laser and the rejuvenating Oxylight treatment.

“Our success is a testament to the trust and loyalty of our wonderful clients and the hard work of our dedicated team.

“We are committed to continuing to provide evidence-based treatments and skincare products while delivering exceptional service to all our valued customers.

“We want to raise the bar – this is a largely unregulated industry. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest possible standards and providing the best treatments possible. The trust we have from our clinics both sides of the border is a testament to that. ”

Prior to opening The Aesthetics Club, Fiona worked in some of London’s most exclusive aesthetic clinics.

She made the switch to a career dedicated to raising the bar for the aesthetics industry after working in one of London’s biggest and busiest major trauma centres.

The Aesthetics Club currently has two venues: one in Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire, and another clinic in London’s leafy Notting Hill.

Their team of 19 is expected to reach 30 by the end of the year.
