Over 100,000 short-term rentals in Canada could be long-term homes: StatsCan report

A new report shows the number of short-term rental listings in Canada increased more than 60 per cent between 2017 and 2023, with the highest growth in B.C. and Ontario. The report identified more than 100,000 short-term rentals that could be homes.
