Deadpool Auditions - This Fan-Favorite Actor was Considered for Role Before Ryan Reynolds was Cast

Ryan Reynolds‘s portrayal of Deadpool has turned the character into a box office success. However, another fan-favorite actor has previously revealed that they were considered to play the Merc with a Mouth.

If you forgot, Ryan first suited up as the Marvel antihero in 2009′s X-Men Origins: Wolverine. While the movie was not a hit, he got to don the iconic red suit again in the 2016 solo movie. Its success birthed a franchise that is going strong three movies in.

In fact, his latest outing as the character, and possibly his last, in Deadpool & Wolverine is breaking records at the box office right now!
