Mariah Carey bringing Christmas concert to Austin this November
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- It's not the holiday season yet, but Mariah Carey fans are feeling merry and bright as the pop superstar announced an upcoming holiday show at the Moody Center in Austin.
The "All I Want for Christmas is You" singer announced her 2024 holiday tour, Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time. It marks the 30th anniversary of Carey's "Merry Christmas" album, which debuted Oct. 28, 1994.
Tour festivities kick off Nov. 6, with the singer touring 20 cities across the United States alongside special guest DJ Suss One.
Carey will perform for the first time in Austin at the Moody Center on Nov. 17, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the show poised to begin at 7:30 p.m. Other Texas stops on the holiday tour include Nov. 19 at Houston's Toyota Center and Nov. 21 at Dallas' American Airlines Center.
The Moody Center's presale runs on Aug. 8 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. CT with the code "RAINEY," while the general ticket sale begins Aug. 9 at 10 a.m. CT.
While this marks her first show in the Texas capital, she's no stranger to the Lone Star State. Here's a breakdown of past tour stops at various Texas cities over the years.
