Kanwar yatra concludes, 4.5 crore kanwariyas visit Haridwar

The Kanwar fair concluded in Haridwar with devotees flocking to Lord Shiv temples for "jalabhishek" on Shiv Chaturdashi. Offerings included Ganga 'Jal' at Daksheshwar Mahadev temple, known for fulfilling devotees' wishes during Shravan. Around 4.5 crore 'kanwariyas' gathered to collect Ganga water this year. Officials, including District Magistrate and Senior Superintendent of Police, joined devotees in performing 'jalabhishek' as the 14-day yatra ended.
