Christina Hall Fires Back at Ex Josh Hall Over His Latest Social Media Post Amid Divorce
Christina Hall isn’t playing around when it comes to her estranged husband, Josh Hall. The former duo is fighting it out on social media and in divorce court. Their latest Instagram battle shows that their combined finances are at the forefront of their issues.
The Instagram war began when Josh posted an Instagram Story with a snapshot of a sculpture that spelled out the word, “hope.” He added praying hands and a blue-heart emoji to the story. That image seemed to enrage the HGTV personality who had quite a message to send back to her ex in retaliation. She took Josh’s photo and added her own message on Thursday, Aug. 1, writing, “I ‘HOPE’ she pays me millions more than what she’s already offered me.” She then added her own praying hands and a stack of cash emojis to the mix. Christina has accused Josh of taking $35,000 from a rental property bank account and transferring it to his personal bank. “Josh was able to divert over $35,000 of my separate property rental income into his account,” she claimed in court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight. “I am asking for Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me as those funds are specifically used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties.” While Josh “denies any wrongdoing,” it’s clear that they don’t see eye to eye on where that large sum went.
She broke her silence about the split — on her Instagram Story, of course — telling her followers on July 25, “I have worked my ass off to build this life for myself and my children and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve/what they did NOT work for should be ashamed, she wrote. “An insecure man with a large ego can sure try and derail you.” Christina hinted that there was a “breaking point” in their marriage and cryptically said this particular divorce was “personal.”
Josh will not be moving forward with the HGTV show, The Flip Off, which will co-star Christina, her first ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, and his new wife Heather Rae El Moussa. The TV personality seemed to like the idea shared by a fan that her second ex-husband Ant Anstead should join the group instead. Maybe he would be open to the idea? Because we know that Christina’s split from Josh is a contentious one.
